Halloween

It is nearly upon us.

The best holiday that was ever invented by pagans and pseudo-usurped by Christianity.

That's right. Halloween.

The last few years I haven't been as in love with Halloween as I used to be. J. was very restrictive when it came to what she "let" me watch, and that kind of stuff. So my love for horror and all things gruesome had abated somewhat out of a drive to keep things civil at my house. Well that shit went out the door recently (I can't tell you how awesome it was to sit and watch Grindhouse with out withering looks coming from the left), and so I'm really looking forward to Halloween.

My haunt (word used in the spirit of talking about this particular holiday), is having a great Halloween line up, with a new horror flick coming in, and the playing of the classic John Carpenter joint. And I cannot wait.

I plan on sitting and getting food and drink, and just basking in horrific glory for most of the night, and then stumbling home. Maybe I can even con some friends into going with me. That would make things brilliant.

If not, I know I'll still have a great time.

Nothing says Halloween loving, like "The night HE came home."

File under Vice.
